![]() Mergers and Acquisitions Consulting In dealing with executives and owners of businesses for Placement or Consulting services, Don Hall & Associates frequently becomes aware of firms that may want to sell or acquire a business. Often we become the first "outsiders" informed of such confidential possibilities. Because of our wide-ranging connections as the "Millwork Network", we invite decision-makers with an appetite for expansion or divestiture to contact us. We will work diligently and discreetly as Finders/Consultants to put prospective Buyers and Sellers together. We will coordinate the negotiations, timing, visits, and exchange of information down to the closing if our Client wants us to assist to that extent. You control the decisions, but we assist all we can in concluding a mutually satisfying and beneficial sale, merger, acquisition, or divestiture for both parties. As a Finder, we charge less than most typical business brokers. We do not charge a commission or brokerage fee. Instead, our fee is based on the long-accepted Lehman scale, payable at closing by the firm that signs our M&A Agreement. Occasionally we can bring together two firms which have both engaged us to assist them. In that case, only one fee is charged, which is usually divided 50/50 between Buyer and Seller. Appropriate forms and our Fee Schedule will be supplied upon request. All we need are the facts and your authorization to proceed on a non-exclusive, contingency basis.
